Fearrington Village is a community that nurtures and supports a creative lifestyle. The goal of our group is to be inclusive. We wish to be welcoming and supportive, while encouraging artistic growth and providing for opportunities for continued professional achievement and financial gain. This is a tall order. Our group’s activities are designed to help support everyone’s needs and offer several opportunities to have art seen and appreciated.
Recreational Artists:
Artists whose practice of their art/fine craft is purely for enjoyment. Art may be a new pursuit or lifelong. They welcome meeting other artists and art lovers; kind critique of work and learning and/or teaching opportunities. They enjoy sharing their love of creative expression.
Emerging Artists:
While some members are just discovering the visual arts, others have been practicing their fine art or craft for many years. The opportunity to visit their studio allows you to be part of their creative journey. Come discover their emerging talent.
Established Artists:
Artists who have more than five years at professional galleries, art fairs, and /or open studios. Their work has been accepted in juried shows; and/or reviewed in art journals, newspaper or magazines; professionally represented in a commercial gallery. They may offer workshops or private lessons. Many have regional, national and /or international reputations. Visit their studio, become a collector.
